I know many of you like to see works in progress and I’ve been working on a lot of stuff lately. Some will get finished, some I just draw for fun and practice. So here’s a few things from the warped brain of mine.

First up, a throw back to when Plan 9 got a gig at a nudist colony WAY back in 2008. I had a lot more ideas but couldn’t draw naked bodies for crap back then, so here’s a sketch of Bud and Jeff getting on a bus to the gig. The ladies on the bus are enjoying the view for sure. This is for those fans of Bud and Jeff out there. Note Bud holding a can of beer in his hand as always.

Here’s an up and coming Desktop. The recent release of the 3D Yogi Bear movie inspired me to go back to my childhood love of Yogi and Boo Boo. The cartoons I grew up on were the ones where Yogi was constantly stealing picnic baskets and not talking in rhyme. Why Hanna Barbera chose to ruin a great character like Yogi by making him a rhyming goodie two shoes is beyond me. Note how the guys are completely ignoring the bears.

Here’s a really rough sketch of Plan 9′s first album cover (yes, they’re going to eventually record an album). I am going more realistic on this drawing and adding some hotness to the pose. They always photograph bands with guys and gals in suggestive poses and hey, my gang is about as suggestive as they come. I always seem to pair Bud with Lorraine and Robyn with Jeff. It’s subconscious and not on purpose. Just seems natural. This image will not be ready until later in February as I prepare for the C2E2 convention in March.

I love the fact it looks like Kirk is pointing groinward, and Janeway is having none of it.
Thanks! Yeah, Sisko and Picard are in the back pointing different directions to go and Kirk is pointing to what makes him happy.
I had little comments for each of them, but felt their expressions and hands said it all!
