It seems Darkwing Duck has made a small comeback in the form of a two-part comic book. My oldest son found them on-line and we both practically wet our pants looking them over. Not only was Darkwing Duck one of my favorite Disney cartoons from the 80s (about the only one too) but the comic book was wonderfully drawn; capturing Darkwing’s fantastic expressions and the feel of the original animation. But, done in today’s digital comic technology make the books just damn fun to read.
So… being who I am, I decided to sketch one of the poses from the comic book where DD gets struck by an electric bolt (Mega Volt must be at it again!). I did this quickly and pretty much captured it. Typically, if it’s in front of me, I can draw it. So, I thought I’d pass this along as we get ready to rock and roll tomorrow with the return of 1977! Enjoy!

Great times, great show. The villains were loads of fun (as you might of guessed, I like villains); Megavolt, Bushroot, Quackerjack, Negaduck, etc.
