The 1920×1200 works beautifully on my 1920×1080 monitor. By centering it, the top & bottom are slightly cropped and I get a full black border around an untouched image.
The black (or any dark, neutral color) is great since all my desktop icons show; they’re always arranged around the edges to accommodate wallpapers. I regularly have to take images for my desktop and resize them onto dark/neutral backgrounds in photoshop so that they’re more practical for everyday use. No alterations even slightly required for this one!
The color scheme and shading on this are … glorious. Simply, glorious. It’s neutral enough that I can work on it all say and not hurt my eyes.
And, the color composition is just in time for 4th of July!

I too like when desktops leave some black along the edges for my icons. Otherwise they blend in. Besides, I want you looking at my art, not for your email icon…
