Comment: Not sure how
this came to me, but I ended up drawing these somewhat
known and unknown Characters from my youth in 1967.The
ones you most likely won't know are the Impossibles (the
guys with the "F," "C," and red "M"). They were a rock
trio (all guitars of course even though you heard drums
in their songs... must of been lip-syncing!) and when
danger raised it's ugly head, they became the
Impossibles: Fluid Man, Coil Man and Multi-Man. I think
most of the Hanna-Barbera writers were on LSD during
this time period as some very bazaar characters came out
during these years. Also, all of the H-B men were drawn
with really BIG muscles (well those drawn as humans and
not cartoons).
Anyway, from front to back & left to right:
Fluid Man, Jonny Quest, Touché Turtle, Secret Squirrel,
Morocco Mole, Quick Draw McGraw, Atom Ant, Zandor, Tarra,
Mightor, Samson, Multiman, Gloop n Gleep, Zok, Birdman,
Coil Man and Space Ghost. Igoo and Tundro are at the
back window looking in. Also, I drew Zok with eyelashes
to make "it" a "her" in honor of the female dragon in
Shrek. Enjoy! |
