In 1980 I welcomed Queen’s “The Game” as it returned to their rock roots. Damn good album and their first to use a synthesizer (never got why they were so against them but, hey, whatever). These guys were rock and rollers at their hearts and I played this thing to death back in the day. So, now that Bud’s going to play the game, so is Queen. Enjoy!

B&W (and grey) drawings are fine and arty and make a pleasant change for a while, but I was designed with colour vision and tend to prefer looking at things and using all my rods and cones while I still can!!

I too was wondering how deep the shit the gang was in.
They’re about to get out of this particular problem for good… but there’s always more shit in the yard to avoid.
I’m doing it more for effect… lawyers don’t deserve much work and I’m not putting that much into them.
I have done Zevon’s song before.
You ended the mystic frog storyline. Judging by the last panel of the last strip, I thought it would continue. Also, I loved Bud’s expression in the second panel. I’m guessing this was the Ranma 1/2 reference I challenged you to work into the storyline? It was so subtle, I wasn’t sure you weren’t going to add another reference later. Hence why I didn’t comment on it. I’d have been satisfied with the storyline even if you hadn’t been able to work in the reference. But the fact that you did is a bonus! Keep up the good work.
I said I had a couple things to get out of the way first. The Mystic Frog will pick up in a week or so at most.
This is not going to end well for Bud and them, because you can’t fight City Hall nor the state of California and expect to win.

Believe it or not, ‘Play the Game’ was the song going through my head as I read the comic before I even scrolled down to see it. But I don’t think love has anything to do with this.
