I'm a silly farm-boy and would have named them Smith or Jones or something. Read the "About 1977 The Comic" page and there's a tiny bio on each character. She read over my original descriptions of the characters and gave me their last names. I owe here a pint one of these days, but it's like a 20 hour flight to Down-Under and I get bored just flying to the west coast! :) I forgot Lorraine is suppose to be Italian... I never knew that Jeff and I shared the same last name. While not a common one, I know there's a few in the US (including a chain of Jewelry stores in Wisconsin), although they are all unrelated I always find it interesting to find more folks whose ancestry flows from the same Swedish "Mountain-Stream".
