Yes, this proves I do live near Chicago. Thursday was set up day and taking the Canadian guests around town for the sites. We ate lunch at the Billy Goat Tavern “Cheezborger!” and went to the top of the Hancock building.
Today starts the Con and I’ll try to post pictures over the weekend
Have a great weekend and come see me at C2E2 if you can!

Looks…er, windy. Have a great time at the con, I’m sure you’ll be a great success. And keep those pictures coming.
in Chicago, eh? Look up Ma Benka restaurant for the BEST Polish food you can find. It’s worth the drive.
Mmm, Polish food.
I also have to recommend the fine Mexican fare at the Frontera Grill on Illinois, just west of the miracle mile.
Ah, City of the Big Shoulders (do you know what that’s from? – shame on you if you don’t!). I’ll always have a soft spot for Chi-town
Hope the con is going well!
You didn’t go up in the Sears (I refuse to use the new name) and stand in the glass boxes?
Being outdoors up 100 floors is worth it.. I won’t go up in a building unless the observation deck is higher than that and there are only two of those in the world.
If I was in town I would drop by.
A fan in Milwaukee.
tip an “Old Style” for me !!!
Looking forward to hearing your report on the con – and all the other Webcomic Planet people that were there too! Sorry I couldn’t get out there. Maybe next year (fingers crossed).
Been living in the desert southwest for several years. GOD i miss home.
I get so mushy seeing all those familiar sights. You’d think after 24 li’l ol’ years, I’d be tired. Sweet home Chicago….=’)
