Welcome back everyone. It’s been a very interesting and wild two months. A lot has gone on and I want to chat about a couple things briefly.
I will not be taking the comic to twice a week. To be straight-forward, I was going to supplement the money I would pay an inker from Memberships and book sales, both of which have been extremely slow in selling. To those who have already purchased and supported the comic, you have my gratitude. At the moment, a majority of the big projects are off my plate and I can readily do one comic per week by myself. These comics you’re looking at take me 8 to 10 hours of work to do… scripting, sketching, inking, shading and coloring combined. We’re moving along a story and entertaining at the same time. I love it, but want to do more. I need your help. You, the reader, have the power to have 1977 be a full-time comic. But without the proper support, I just can’t invest the time for little or no financial return. To that end…
I am offering up digital & traditional commissions again. I gained a lot of confidence at C2E2 drawing a variety of subjects from Zombies drinking brain smoothies to super heroes of all types to even a guy standing with Lorraine (the poster worked great!). You can join the site and get a free commission, or I’ll do a single character inked and colored digitally for $10. If you want it drawn on card stock, it will $20.00 in pencils and ink, no color, postage included. Fire away your requests, I am completely open now. If I get 50 commissions by the end of May, then I will have the funds to take the comic to twice a week. If I set a clear goal for us, maybe that will help motivate us all. Let me know what you think.

WOWZERS! Jeff has eyes LOL! I also love the “Buy The Book…” art. I get the point. I’d love you see a How I Do It either on this site or on Web Alliance. I’m always fascinated how cartoonists do their work and what their work are is like. It’s like non-threatening porn to me. One site I love is David-Waisting Paper ( http://david-wasting-paper.blogspot.com/ ) where he asks the same questions to each artist/cartooninst. It’s like a non-treatening Penthouse Forum.
Yes, Jeff has eyes… as the comic progresses it’s becoming more and more necessary to draw the guys with “normal” eyes from time to time.
If I get enough cash built up, when I buy a new PC I’ll be able to do video streams of how I draw the comic. I just don’t have the graphic power at the moment to draw and stream video. Soon, hopefully, as I have a lot of tutorials I want to do for here and the WA site.

I think body language speaks louder than any facial expression. And, that’s how I’d look if I discovered a second girl in bed with me… Woke up and had to ask names before, but never to two girls. Damn, my guys are SO much luckier than I ever was!

You can do anything you want! And know anything is extremely helpful (I see now you’ve sent in your donation! YES!) This comic was a kick in the ass for all of us, including me, that I we have to work together to keep the comic going and so far it’s been a great response, so THANK YOU to everyone who’s stepped up this week!
You know when I read this page after ward my first thought was not about the two hot girls in his bed but it was “OH MY GOD HE HAS EYES!!”
Yeah, we’ve seen hot chicks before in bed, but NOT Jeff’s eyes like that. Blood-shot and all. Vodka is killer (at least for me).

For some reason, this particular comic would make a great “trailer” or commercial. It just hit me directly over the head.
It definately has the tone of the comic down for sure! I need to do more of these… like the next comic. Kinda on a sex kick here at the moment.
Did it last year and it was a ton of fun (also some shower scenes in that one too with Bud).
I wonder if the “waiting for Thor’s mighty hammer” means that our protagonist also has a bout of whiskey d*ck? Or just that they too are waiting for the new movie to come out in in early May. That’s be a shame if it was the whiskey d*ck – which would actually be vodka d*ck…
Well, superhero movies of the 70s really sucked for the most part except for Superman ’78. CGI today makes it almost too easy.
Jeff may be a screamin’ rock guitarist, but few of us are immune to one too many shots of Vodka. So, yeah, his Hammer petered out before the big show.

But superhero TV shows… Wonder Woman and The Incredible Hulk were both awesome. Didn’t hurt that TIH had a Richard O’Brien closing theme tune. Who’d have thought that the Rocky Horror song with the most TV play would be the one cut from the movie?

For those of us who don’t often wake up as the meat in a hotness sandwich, I think the best revenge is Jeff spending the night with two gorgeous women and not remembering it.
Of course, if he failed to perform then the best revenge would be him remembering it his entire life…
