A little something to get your day started… cigarettes are optional.
Stef Marcinkowski, of the awesome comic “Sara Zero,” back in 2005, started up “Valentine’s Day Sex Drive” and it’s become quite the annual event. This year 48 perverted artists, like myself, will be drawing one or more of their characters naked for the event. I know naked is not only good, but fun, so I joined in this year and Lorraine’s misadventure with Cupid is the result. Poco never knew what hit him.
The list below is the the other artists who joined in. Please visit them, but be aware, they are all NSFW. You’ve been joyfully warned.

And what song sums up Valentine’s Day better than Foghat’s “I Just Want To Make Love To You”? Nothing. One of those rare times where I think the live version rocks SO much better than the studio version. Also, this live album came out in 1977, so it’s got that going for it too. I so miss “Lonesome” Dave Peverett, the lead singer who died on February 7th, 2000 of cancer. Great vocalist and this 1977 live album showed the band at it’s peak in my opinion.

Ah, sweet lizard love!
From the expressions on Cupid and Lorraine, I don’t think Poco was the intended target… and I’m sure Lorraine wants nothing to do with a lizard.
Nice way to showcase the holiday of love.
I hope you have a great Valentine’s day with your love ones.
Thanks, Marcus, and to you too!
At first glance i just said “Yowza” to myself.
I don’t remember ever saying that?!
Lorraine has that effect on people…
Hi! I’m first time visitor and fellow VDSD’er, and I just have to say that pinup is absolutely adorable! Also, historical fiction, YAY!
A very weird kind of historical fiction too…
Glad you liked my entry! I’m visiting all the other pages later today.
@1977comic Ha! That was great, and very funny, and thinking about what happens afterward, hooo boy!
Yeah, Poco shoots flames, so getting him excited may have some disastrous results…
Ohhhhh, Poco’s just a hunk of burnin’ love, eh?
(If that’s not a song cue, I don’t know what is.
)
Here you go… another instant request!
Perhaps Cupid should upgrade to a shotgun.
I’m more inclined towards Bad Company’s Feel Like Making Love…
Also – YOWZA!
That’s one of those songs that got over-played for me. Good song and great group, but if something’s pushed down your throat enough, you get tired of it. And Foghat gets ignored, so I went that direction.
Fair enough – though I have to admit that I’ve never understood the concept of ‘overplayed’. Well. almost never: there was a time when I had a flat on Hollyweird Boulevard in a 1930s building occupied mainly by musicians, roadies, actors and ~cough~ working women, and the stoners in the flat directly below me apparently owned only two albums – Moondance and In-a-Gadda-da-Vida – which they cycled constantly. I mean like 24/7. It took me YEARS before I could bear to listen to the Moondance album again, even though it was and remains one of Van’s finest. The Iron Butterfly album OTOH I could have done without *ever* having had to listen to
Yeah, I can hardly listen to In-a-Gadda-da-Vida as well. But yes, anything overplayed will grind on you, as your example is a perfect example. I can’t listen to BOC’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper” as in my freshman year at ISU some idiot down the hall decided to play that riff over and over and over, all night for a couple nights during finals week. He was stoned for sure.
It’s a fine old riff, but surely not *that* fine
(Although the circling quality of it can mean that it’s very, very hard to STOP playing it./ Especially if one is ~coughs~ under the influence…)
