Actually, I love a good glass of wine with my joints… but then I’m letting my kids know too much about my past as it is. 🙂
Bud was worn out from falling on that old lady and will return to his Neighborhood Watch duties for one more comic on Monday. Actually my idea was too hard to finish in one night, so I’ll see if I can get ‘er done over the weekend. Or maybe I’ll forget until Sunday night… oh well…

I never really got too much into pot, (except for this one summer, which I sort of… forget…) but then, that was the late eighties, not the seventies, so that could have made a difference. I think that the ship may already have sailed on the kids finding out about your illicit past.
They probably have already figured out that you drank wine.
Don’t your mouth dry with the wine? For my beer and the joint are the best combination that always, always, leaves me happy. And that is exactly what I’m going to do when I get back from the University. Summer holidays are just beginning in this part of the planet!
Kevin: Depends on who you hung with in the 70s… I happened to hang with a lot of folks in the music business (the bottom of the barrell mostly) and shockingly enough, they smoked a lot of pot. I didn’t do that much, but I sure drank a lot… and that haunts me today as I know I killed off a few brain cells that I think I need today!

Oh, yeah, the kids know plenty of my “behavior” from the 70s. It was relating my college stories to my oldest son that motivated me to start this comic, so you can thank Justin for getting me to talk about my “past.”

You must be “down-under” if you’re enjoying summer! Good friend of mine lives in Melbourne and we always joke how she celebrates Christmas with a cookout on the beach. She misses the snow though… yeah, right!

Aw, crap! I just noticed I have Bud holding the joint like a cigarette… nuts! You don’t do that! And, I didn’t really smoke cigarettes either (that might kill you… but drink every weekend until you passout, well that’s okay). I may have to update this one as that’s gonna bug me…

Well, smokin’ a joint has become a bit “passé” these days with all the “fun” recreational drugs youngsters have today… but I’ll agree with you on the beer! I never pass up having a nice cold one now and then!
