One of my many memories from the 70s was eating pizza on the hood of my best friend’s Skylark outside this greasy pizza joint. The pizzeria at the time was kinda dark, scuzzy and not very inviting, so we ordered our pizza, a 6-pack of RC cola and then retired to the hood of his car to ingest said purchases. The car had a permanent grease spot where the pizza sat. Good times.

There’s something you don’t see today… teenagers just being teenagers. Yes, my friend and I caused our share of trouble, but mostly we were out driving, tossing the Frisbee, eating ice cream, listening to music WAY too loud and just having a good time. We did not have the internet, cell phones, i-Pods (our i-Pod was the tape deck in the car) or computers. We had cars and we used them. But at $4.00 a gallon, we sure as hell wouldn’t use them today!

Soapbox away… Yes, the band finally comes together as only 1977 could!
